I have found that many couples benefit from several sessions held in close proximity over a weekend.  For many couples the opportunity to get away to Colorado and to address their marital issues in a concentrated fashion can help them to break through to solutions for closeness and intimacy that have eluded them in more traditional marital therapy methodologies.  I will refer a couple to local lodging and will schedule several appointments beginning on Friday or Saturday and concluding on Sunday or Monday.  During the ski season I can arrange to meet the couple in Vail, where I am a certified ski instructor, and to incorporate skiing into the weekend of marital therapy.  The couple may also choose to travel in Colorado to nearby locations at any time of year.  I will use Emotionally Focused Therapy over the weekend to assist the couple in breaking through to solutions that have proven elusive in the past.  You may call me to arrange a free consultation at 970-390-7377.
